Crafted from heavyweight 11.8 oz moleskin fabric, originally developed in 1930s Europe and widely used in French workwear. This unique satin fabric is finished with a brushed treatment, giving it a soft, fur-like texture—hence the name “moleskin.”

This jacket features a full-buttoned placket with a buttoned throat latch, retaining the original version two front buttoned waist pockets and adding two patch pockets at the waist and two interior pockets. We’ve adjusted and optimized the silhouette and cut for a more versatile fit suited to modern life.
