The pockets are very shallow. I would say that they are unusable. The material is good. Overall appearance is excellent but I use all the pockets for my shorts.

I absolutely love the fit, super comfortable to wear and looks awesome, my only gripe is the relatively shallow pockets and somewhat short inseam. It would have been perfect if the pockets were somewhat deeper and the inseam just a little bit longer. EDIT: Decreasing my rating a little bit since after just 3 wears and one wash the crotch has already developed noticeable pilling.

I love just about everything about these shorts. Great style, great fabric, great comfort. The only major negative is when I first tried them on I pulled the belt strap to fasten the buckle and it broke. There wasn’t a huge amount of force used. In any case I bought a more sturdy buckle and replaced them myself and they are good as new.
