Great jacket! Resist the urge to wear it out of the box. Throw it in a warm water soak for 20mins a half cup vinegar and a cup of salt to set the dye. Machine wash on cold and hang dry after that. Then wear it! It’s the best jacket I own! I’m a fan.

Tolle Qualität zu einem fairen Preis! Der Versand verlief reibungslos und unerwartet schnell. Die Passform der Jacke fällt entsprechend der angegebenen Größe aus. Die Verarbeitung ist tadellos. Zu beachten ist lediglich, dass Dir stark abfärbt. Nach dem ersten Waschen war das dann aber kein Problem mehr. Ansonsten toller klassischer Schnitt! Absolute Empfehlung!
Fit: I was initially concerned because I fell between two sizes. I am 6', 220 pounds, and I fell between a LG and XL. I ended up going with the large, and the fit is spot on in the chest with the sleeves about 3cm too long. Overall, I am satisfied. Fabric: robust, with a soft hand feel. It is on the heavier side, which is preferable for a jacket I travel with. Design: it fits the look i was hoping for; a more formal play on a chore coat. I think the design would be more well suited with a single chest pocket but its personal preference and could be easily removed. Pockets: I like the patch pocket designs and size. The torso pockets would be more comfortable to use if placed 1.5 to 2 centimeters closer to the centerline of the jacket. Finish: bearing in mind that the jacket wad under $150.00, I am satisfied with the buy. There are threads that need to be trimmed, there is too much fabric on the chest pockets so they do not sit flush, and the cuffs are bulky with extra material. However, all these can be addressed for a minimal cost. Overall: happy with the look, feel and value for the garment.
Two major issues. First, the bleeding: the indigo dye is not set well, and it bleeds like crazy. If you don't wash it right away, it will bleed on everything. But then when you wash it, it will fade inconsistently and look a little off with splotchy spots. Second, the pockets are positioned in a very weird way, where they're too far to the sides. It's unnatural for pockets and looks funny. Another lessor issue is it's very thick, so functionally it's more of a coat than a jacket. Overall I would not recommend it
I would recommend sizing up for the average person. It’s a bit snug now, but I’m in the process of losing weight, so it should be fine by Fall/Winter.
This is a nice quality jacket, sizing is spot in and appears well made at first sight. The delivery was prompt and with tracking to see when arriving. I took on board other reviews on dye and potential to cone off garment. So similar to others soaked in salt/ vinegar, followed by gentle wash, all good so far. Why three stars, jacket colour will never match photos, i love that it will fade uniquely.
Weird fit
Good Quality. It is true to size. I sized up as a precaution to 2XL but could have gone with XL. The sleeves are boxy.

It's hard to tell from the site, but this chore coat shipped from China. My experience was fine: it arrived sooner than projected and there were no tariffs or duties for me to pay, but if these are concerns for other buyers, now you know. The coat itself is handsome and the stitching seems tight and well-finished. It fit as expected, so the sizing guide is reliable. Boy, does it bleed, though. This is good news/bad news. This is what indigo does, so it supports the claim that this is indigo-dyed (which I value), but it will take a bit until it stops leaving blue everywhere I go. Soon enough, it's going to be a terrific indigo garment. When they get the corresponding vests back in stock I will go back to them without reservation.
Fits as expected with quality and weight of traditional sashiko fabric. Very pleased.

It is an excellent piece; the fit might need some adjustment, but the garment is faultless.
The Indigo bleeds a lot. It looked like in the 5th element when they were reaching into the blue lady for the elemental stones. Other than that the jacket is a little large but some layers will help that.
