Customer photo review of 1950s US Army Officer Chino Trousers

Great chinos. I’m 173cm, 76kg, wearing a 32”. Please start making these in different colours! Would love an olive pair.

Size down

Store owner replied: Thanks for the feedback! We’ll keep this in mind as we work to improve our sizing guidance

These fit not-too-bad on a first try-on. I wish they perhaps had a slightly more generous thigh and leg opening, though. (Naturally, I have plenty of product ideas!) After a first (cold) wash and (cool tumble) dry, they shrunk to such an extent that I really can't wear them. A shame, as I was quite looking forward to making these my 'daily drivers.' If you've even *looked* at a squat rack, these might not be the trousers for you.

1950s US Army Officer Chino Trousers

Store owner replied: Thanks for your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear the fit after washing didn’t work out for you. Our cotton products are pre-shrunk to help minimize shrinkage, but as a natural fiber, slight changes may still occur after washing. We truly appreciate your comments on the thigh room, leg opening, and overall fit, and we’ll share your feedback with our product team as we continue improving our designs and fabric performance. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.

Terrific pair of pants a d well constructed. Can’t be beat for the price. Double check measurements, as sizes they do run small. Go by the listed measurements and not tag size.

So far so good, first time being able to afford a decent pair natural waisted trouser, and got compliments on the fit of them. Customer service was great too when i mistakenly ordered a similar yet different pair.

Store owner replied: Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you're satisfied with the quality and overall fit of the trousers. It might be slightly smaller due to the design of the garment. The height, weight, and size information you shared is very helpful for other customers.

Small in the waist for size 36. Otherwise they seem nice - I’ve only just washed them and will have to have them hemmed. Thank you!

Well, the fact the inseam options are “fixed” and not custom causes an unlikely chance of fit. The 32” inseam on the pants I ordered was significantly longer than 32” …closer to 36” to be honest. The quality of fabric and workmanship though was wonderful!

1950s US Army Officer Chino Trousers

Store owner replied: Thank you for sharing your honest feedback! We’ll make sure to pass your comments about the inseam fit to our product team and take them into account in future production plans. Your input helps us keep improving — thank you again for your support!

Bought these in W32 off another site, for me it's the perfect cut of chinos. If you made them in odd sizing (I think a W31 would be perfect for me) and some different colours (navy, olive) I wouldn't wear anything else.

1950s US Army Officer Chino Trousers

High quality! Fabric has heft and feels good to the touch, nice cut and style. Though when they start making women ‘s, then a wide leg all the way down. Finally, not a thread out place. These are such fine pants that they will be the only ones I would want to wear and would probably last for at least another decade. I can’t wait until they start making women’s!

Outstanding vintage chinos! After some alterations, I am looking forward to wearing these regularly!

A very decent pair of trousers. Well tailored material with great shape and style. Just take note of the sizing and the heads up they give regarding the garments.
