Good quality; on a US size 11.5 foot, the stripes begin about 2" above the lower curve of the ball of the ankle. The whole sock finishes about 8.5" up from the bottom of the foot.

These are extremely small. The smallest one size sock ive lurchased. They probably fit size 8 comfortably.
